How to Return an Item

If for any reason you wish to return your item(s), simply email us within 7 days of receiving your package at shop@warpandweftoldtown.com  

Quote your order number in the subject line, then describe the item(s) you wish to return and why. Please include your telephone number in case we need to contact you.

Returns outside of these time frames may be accepted at the discretion of Warp & Weft and maybe only refunded as a store credit which must be used within 6 months.

Once your return has been authorization we will email you an address label to secured to the outside of the package.  Please ensure all previous address labels are obscured and the parcel is securely sealed. Once the package is ready then simply call UPS - locally, and request a collection.

 Packages must be collected within 7 days of receiving the label.

Items must be returned to us in the same condition as they were sent, in its original packaging with any enclosed documentation and any labels still attached. We will not be able to refund or exchange any noticeably damaged, used, worn or washed items. All items returned must be in their original state and deemed fit for resale. 

Returns that are late, damaged, soiled may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer and/or a refund refused.

Once we have received the parcel and subject to the conditions above, we will begin the refund process and inform the customer by email.

Please note free collection does not apply to items returned from a different country to the original shipping destination or to orders canceled under the DSRs

Gift Returns

If you have received an item as a gift, you may exchange it for a credit voucher, which you can use against your next purchase. This will be valid for 6 months. 

Refunds and Exchanges

Your refund will either be credited to the original purchaser's credit card or we will issue a credit voucher, which will remain valid for 6 months. This credit/refund will include shipping costs for faulty items or for orders cancelled under the DSR only. Shipping costs will not be refunded for items returned using our usual collection service. 

If your order has been sent to a destination within the EU all sales taxes will be refunded. Outside the EU, customs duties are non-refundable through Warp & Weft. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly. As this may not be available for all countries, we recommend that you hire a customs broker if you wish to claim back duties on returned merchandise. 

Please note card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete depending on the processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers and unfortunately, we are unable to influence this. 

For an exchange, we will issue a credit voucher, which you can use to purchase a replacement item. The voucher will remain valid for 6 months. 

Faulty Goods

Many of our items are vintage or made from natural or vintage materials or hand dyed, so slubs, marks, and patina are likely, this is the nature of the product and not a fault. All items are quality controlled before they are dispatched to customers, however, should you receive an item and you are unhappy with the condition then please contact us immediately at shop@warpandweftoldtown.com 

Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. 

Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items, if it cannot be repaired or the same product is not available you are entitled to a full refund.

Canceling Your Order Under the Distance Selling Regulations

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you may cancel a distance contract to purchase a product or products from us at any time within 7 working days after the day you received the relevant products or products (subject to the limitations set out below). 

In order to cancel a contract in this way, you must give us written notice of cancellation. 

If you cancel a contract on this basis, you must promptly return the products to us, in the same condition in which you received them, with all labels attached and in the original packaging. 

If you cancel a contract on this basis, you will be refunded in full (including the cost of sending the products to you). However, you will be responsible for paying the cost of returning the product to us. 

You will need to return the entire order to us by secure means to ensure it reached us in good condition, at your own cost.

We recommend that you insure the returns shipment as you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and will be liable for damage to them until we receive them at our shop. In case of dispute, we also recommend that you retain proof of sending. 

Refunds will be issued within 30 days of us receiving your cancellation notice. 

If we do not receive the cancelled order back, we will arrange to have it collected from you at your cost. Similarly, if you return the products at our expense, we may pass that expense on to you.
