Pricing Policy

Prices on the website include British value-added taxes for European customers only. In addition to the price of the products, there will be a delivery charge which will be as stated when you pay for the product.

Customers purchasing from a country served as DDU, (outside the European Union) will be charged for the item purchased and shipping costs only. Import duty will be invoiced to you directly from UPS or an import broker appointed by you. We recommend that you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost price prior to purchase completion.

If you are a customer whose Credit/Debit card is non-denominated in sterling, the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction.

Prices for products are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect contracts, which have come into force.

Brexit

From the 1st January 2021, in accordance to the new trade agreement between the U.K and the EU, customers in the EU and EEA will not have to pay any import duties if the products originate from the UK but are responsible for all tax and handling charges that may be applied by their local customs office on delivery. UK VAT is not charged for goods and services delivered outside of the U.K - 20% of the price of goods will be deducted at the checkout. For goods that do not originate from the U.K, EU customers will be responsible for the import duties. The tax and handling charges are out of our control and will be invoiced to you directly by the courier service used. These charges vary dependent on the country and if you are unsure we would recommend you contact your local customs office for more information.

Faulty Goods

Many of our items are vintage or made from natural or vintage materials or hand dyed, so slubs, marks, and patina are likely, this is the nature of the product and not a fault. All items are quality controlled before they are dispatched to customers, however, should you receive an item and you are unhappy with the condition then please contact us immediately at shop@warpandweftoldtown.com

Goods are faulty if they are received damaged or where a manufacturing fault occurs within 6 months of purchase.
Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.
If you would like to exchange a faulty item instead of obtaining a refund please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability.
Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items, if it cannot be repaired or the same product is not available you are entitled to a full refund.

Refunds and Exchanges

Your refund will either be credited to the original purchaser's credit card or we will issue a credit voucher, which will remain valid for 6 months. This credit/refund will include shipping costs for faulty items or for orders cancelled under DSR only. Shipping costs will not be refunded for items returned using our free collection service.

If your order has been sent to a destination within the EU all sales taxes will be refunded. Outside the EU, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable through Warp and Weft. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly. As this may not be available for all countries, we recommend that you hire a customs broker if you wish to claim back duties on returned merchandise.

Please note card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete depending on the processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers and unfortunately, we are unable to influence this.

For an exchange, we will issue a credit voucher, which you can use to purchase a replacement item.
The voucher will remain valid for 6 months.

If you have received an item as a gift, you may exchange it for a credit voucher, which you can use against your next purchase.
This will be valid for 6 months.
